With so many new compact 9mm models hitting the market lately, have manufacturers truly nailed this category, or is there still room for meaningful advancements?

There's still plenty of room to grow. Integrated optic solutions that keep the sight picture clear and don’t add unnecessary bulk are still a WIP. A lot of the factory optic-ready options seem like they were just tacked on instead of being thoughtfully designed. This is the key area where we really need to push for meaningful advancements.
