Any short AR builders around?

For those of you who’ve put together a 10–12" AR, what parts combo helped you achieve consistent function without dealing with excessive blowback? I’m looking for practical tuning recipes that have stood the test of time.

It’s all about having an adjustable gas block and a heavier buffer. I’ve got a 12.5" setup with an Aero AGB and an H2 buffer and the rest is pretty standard. I turned the gas down a bit and now it’s just right. No need for any fancy upgrades.
