Let’s talk about the technical aspects of getting the most accuracy out of a 9mm at a distance. If you’ve set up your gear for shooting at 100 yards, what particular hardware and ammo selections helped you achieve better results? If you’ve documented your tuning process or any improvements in your shot groups, please share your experiences here for the benefit of others!

been working with a stock Glock 19 fitted with iron sights and using 147gr American Eagle ammo. I’m managing to get 6-7" groups at 100yds. It’s definitely a challenge especially with the short barrel and iron sights. I’ve kept track of my progress over 15 range sessions and I’ve noticed that my groups improved more from honing my fundamentals than from any gear upgrades.

My best 100-yard 9mm groups came from a Cajunized CZ SP01 loaded with 147 grain Federal Syntech. Heavier bullets seemed to tighten everything up noticeably.

When it comes to 9mm at 100 yards, barrel quality and trigger pull consistency matter more than anything. Federal 124-grain Gold Dot always groups tighter than bulk ammo at that distance.

The biggest improvement I made at 100 yards came from slowing way down and figuring out what was going wrong, instead of just shooting more.
