I recommend Federal HST, speer gold dot, or hornady critical defense. They expand reliably, feed smoothly, and perform well in real-life self-defense, what round are you carrying now?
Before all of that, it's a good idea to run a few magazines through your carry gun just to make sure everything's feeding reliably. Some hollow points can be a bit picky.
